The Discover SCUBA Diving program is our way to get you to the reef today. This one-day program is perfect for vacation or trying out SCUBA before certification. No prior experience or homework needed.
We meet in the morning to practice simple skills in a pool, then leave with time for lunch before boarding a dive boat for a ride out to 2 separate dive sites on Miami's healthy reef system. We do all the work, you have all the fun.

Certify today
Our preferred entry into SCUBA diving, the Supervised Diver course can be completed in one day, with the ability to easily add day(s) of guided diving after the course for a greatly discounted price.
This learning and cert card certifies you for a lifetime to dive with a professional at any dive site shallower than 40 ft, anywhere in the world. Because this course uses a large portion of the Open Water SCUBA Diver material, you can return for two more dives and some additional skills to upgrade to an autonomous diver, not required to dive with a professional.

Dive self-sufficiently, for a lifetime
Imagine floating weightlessly like an astronaut, cruising with the currents among colorful fish, or investigating shipwrecks, which are like underwater museums. With your SDI Open Water Scuba Diver certification, you gain access to this world in a safe and educated manner, and join a community that shares a passion for the underwater world.
This three-day class is organized completely around your timeline, although most students choose a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. To protect this scheduling and improve your learning, we limit the class to one student, unless you bring a buddy with whom to participate. 8 hours of self-paced online learning starts the course, then we learn all of our scuba skills together in a pool, and prove ourselves in the fun of the ocean with 4 dives.
- Day one: classroom to review the online learning, then the pool to start learning skills
- Day two: the pool to finish learning all of our skills, then 2 shore dives from the beach in the ocean, or at a local lake for calmer conditions
- Day three: a morning boat ride out to two different dive sites to complete the final two mandatory dives (more training and dives might be necessary, but all further tuition is free)
- 8 hours of self-paced academics, 4 pool dives, 2 lake dives, 2 ocean dives (minimum)
- Nitrox certification included
- Certified to dive with a buddy, for life, anywhere in the world, up to 60 ft
- The world standard in entry-level certification
- No personal gear (added costs) required
One-on-one: $950. Two-person class: $720 each. Same price as others, for individual attention. If something sounds funky, I can walk through all the options with you.
