About Eric

Eric Taylor, SDI and TDI instructor

Full-time as an ICU nurse, I bring decades of error-mitigation research into my nursing and diving practice. Safety science is necessary in the deep diving and cave diving that I am passionate about, but it also improves recreational diving safety.

Your training is personalized to your needs and timeline, with equal focus on the class-specific skills and overarching safe-diving practices.

Underwater, I focus on details of stability, but above water, I teach effective communication, detailed dive planning and quality debriefing. To maintain this high quality of education, I specialize in a limited number of courses, namely sidemount, and maintain small class sizes.

How I teach
